Tomorrow everyone is going to Mel’s party or “Melon is Ripening”, as she put it herself. Still makes me laugh whenever I read it. The theme is musicals and I’m going as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. I’ve got a checked dress and red shoes which are AWESOME!
Haven’t really done a lot apart from shopping for holiday stuff. I think I’ve got everything now but I still have urges to go out and spend unnecessary money. Don’t know why but I guess I’m just strange.
I think I’m losing weight again. My clothes are getting too big and I’m having to wear belts more often. It’s a good thing I guess but every time I lose a bit of weight, it never stays off, so I don’t get too excited about it anymore.
I miss people a lot. I’ve become a social recluse and I haven’t been out properly with people since the prom. That’s bad really, isn’t it? I just don’t feel like going out, that’s the problem. I guess it is anti-social and everything but I really would rather sit at home at night, wrapped in my own fantasy world, which my mother says is bad for me. She’s not a dreamer, she’ll never understand!
Oh well, I guess tomorrow night will be fun. It’s a Mel party after all.
